Well I got the dreaded 331 error message on my 622 last night, dead hard drive. I thought it was odd because I've never had any problems what's so ever leading up to the failure. I called tech support and their sending me a replacement which should be here tomorrow. Luckily it's not the main receiver I use, it's a 722k. But unfortunately for my wife. It is the receiver she records most of the shows she enjoys. I just hope she don't lose her mind not being able to record Nancy Grace temporarily. :)

So if a person had put some shows on an external hard drive and the main receiver crashes, would the new receiver be able to see the shows on the external hard drive when plugged in? I thought that the external drive was "married" to a specific receiver.

The 722 is black, has a 500GB hard drive, and it can take the Sling Adapter.

What kind of Dish do I need for tailgating?

5 MORE things I ***LIKE*** about my 922
