At the start of the hour, NBC displayed a DD5.1 logo, but Im definitely not getting DD5.1. Is anybody? Its working fine on the other channels.

My local NBC DT station is carring the Dolby Digital feed. I would call DISH and ask why they are not carring the DD feed. There's suppose to be a full transponder for this channel, but I'm still getting a few breakups. I'm not sure if it's DISH or NBC's fault.

I would remember that no technology is infallible and that traveling from so far away that a few video and audio glitches would be highly possible. As for the DD 5.1 feed being there and not being passed along, is kind of crappy, but with this event, it really isn’t needed. I would rather have it on more PPV and premium movies where directional sound matters.

Also if its any concession, only the Opening and Closing ceremonies are actually produced in DD5.1. All of the sporting event are just 2.0. So its kinda hard to muster up any anger here.

No anger. They just put a big DD logo up, and it wasnt DD.

921 in RV.

Will CBS ever come to Traverse City/Cadillac Locals?
