Ok, guy's,
Those of you that use the Online scheduler,
I am wondering D* allows you to add the locals in the programming for the recorder, except for the fact that there is NO way to put in an HD channel, such as 11.1, the only option is 11, which is the analog channel which obviously is not HD nor is it able to be recorded on the D* HD DVR's as they no longer have analog tuners in them.

I am referring to OTA channels, but you think thus is not a problem seeing the guide picks up the OTA channels.

If you get your locals from D* , do you get the sub channels, how do you get the HD channels thru D*, aern't they a .1 channel ?

Thanks for offering the DVR scheduler, but lets finish it up and make OTA available as well.

For those that get HD locals, they are on the same channel - so there are two channel 11's for example. It automatically tunes to the HD version first. And if you set the configuration in the menu, the SD counterpart is hidden entirely.

So the HD locals do work a bit different than the OTA. Since I can record the HD locals remotely, I can't say I've spent too much time investigating being able to record them via my OTA.

Sorry I can't answer your primary question. :(

I've never seen OTA channels listed in the online guide.

Go here :
TV & Pay Per View

Under the date is a line that says:
Show also:
Local channels for zip code, then place your zip code in the box and enter.

It will now add your locals to the guide.
However, it only list the analog channel of the OTA, no .1 or -1 available and seeing the new D* rec's don't have analog tuners anymore, it's quite useless.
