CW orders Arrow/Flash spinoff. DC's Legends of Tomorrow to series

John Constantine Could Head To Legends Of Tomorrow In A Big Way, Get The Details http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...ends-Tomorrow-Big-Way-Get-Details-101847.html
John Constantine lost his series on NBC earlier this year after only one season, but the trench coat wearing-occultist has managed to avoid being from banished from the small screen altogether. Matt Ryan reprised the character earlier this month in the Arrow episode “Haunted,” where viewers saw him assist Team Arrow in restoring Sara Lance’s soul in the present and meet Oliver Queen in the past. Now that he’s been firmly established in this DC TV universe, there’s a rumor that Constantine may be headed to Legends of Tomorrow in its second season.

5 Things The Flash And Arrow Crossover Revealed About Legends Of Tomorrow http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...r-Revealed-About-Legends-Tomorrow-103037.html
The Flash and Arrow existing in the same CW universe has always meant that there’s an awful lot of story to be explored whenever the characters happen to cross paths, and the epic 2015 crossover event between the two shows felt more like a movie than a pair of television episodes. It also felt kind of like a backdoor pilot for upcoming Flarrow spinoff Legends of Tomorrow, as a whole lot of information about some of the key Legends characters hit the airwaves. We now know a lot more about what is to come with the next installment in the CW’s DC universe, and here are 5 key things that the Flash and Arrow crossover revealed about Legends of Tomorrow.

Holy Epic! See the Entire Cast of Legends of Tomorrow Together for the First Time http://www.eonline.com/news/721410/...gends-of-tomorrow-together-for-the-first-time
So. Many. Superheroes. The CW released the first poster for DC's Legends of Tomorrow and it is truly legendary. Just look at all of them.Set to premiere on Thursday, Jan. 21, Legends of Tomorrow unites heroes and villains in order to save the future. Rip Hunter (Doctor Who star Arthur Darvill), a time traveler, gets the task of assembling this epic group in order to thwart an enormous threat that puts time (yes, all of time) at risk. Not just the country or the world, but time.

Arrow's Ra's al Ghul to Wreak Havoc on Legends of Tomorrow Spinoff https://www.yahoo.com/tv/arrows-ras-al-ghul-wreak-200921539.html
Ra’s al Ghul is the Big Bad that just won’t go away.Arrow alum Matt Nable is set to reprise his role as the onetime League of Assassins leader on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, TVLine has confirmed.Ra’s was killed at the end of Season 3, but given that the Arrow/Flash offshoot heavily features time travel, that piddly fact hardly seems like a death sentence. As previously reported, current Arrow foe — and frenemy-of-Ra’s — Damien Darhk (played by Neal McDonough) will also visit the upcoming superhero series, which premieres Jan. 21 at 8/7c on The CW.

Which Arrow Supporting Characters We Want To See On Legends of Tomorrow https://www.yahoo.com/movies/arrow-supporting-characters-want-see-140000330.html
Legends of Tomorrow is looking to be a juggernaut addition to the CW’s roster. The jam packed team show, debuting in 2016, has the likes of CW stalwarts: the Atom, White Canary, Captain Cold, Heatwave, and Firestorm along with newcomers Rip Hunter, Hawkman, and Hawkgirl. The series will see the unlikely group of allies travelling through time to take on the immortal villain, Vandal Savage, who is a fantastic foil as you can literally jump to any timeline and there he is! From the present to the future to the past, the series promises to potentially offer more super heroics than Arrow and the Flash combined, simply looking at the enormous cast. It will be interesting to see how this hodge podge of super powered characters interacts, especially with two villains thrown into the mix, that’s for sure.

Legends of Tomorrow Premiere Photos: Sara's Groovy '70s Bar Fight and More https://www.yahoo.com/tv/legends-tomorrow-premiere-photos-saras-155223040.html
Debuting Thursday, Jan. 21 at 8/7c (where it will displace the Friday-bound Vampire Diaries and lead into The 100 Season 3), Legends opens with Time Master Rip Hunter (played by Doctor Who‘s Arthur Darvill) recruiting the titular team members, one by one, after which he gives them this charge: to stop the immortal Vandal Savage from wreaking catastrophe in the year 2166.The first step in that foreboding mission takes Sara Lance aka White Canary, Ray Palmer/The Atom, Firestorm 2.0 (Martin Stein/Jax Jackson), Captain Cold and Heat Wave and Hawkman/Hawkgirl to the year 1975. There, Sara, Leonard and Mick (Caity Lotz, Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell) kick back at a bar, though it’s not long before trouble bubbles up, when Sara takes more interest in a meathead’s lady than the lunk himself.

Legends of Tomorrow: Will Sara Find Post-Pit Love With a 1950s Nurse? https://www.yahoo.com/tv/legends-tomorrow-sara-post-pit-214538918.html
Liebert will appear in an episode of the midseason Arrow/Flash offshoot as Lindsay Carlisle, a mild-mannered, closeted nurse who awakens something in Sara Lance/White Canary (played by Caity Lotz) that had been dormant since her death (understandably!) and eventual resurrection via the Lazarus Pit.“When Sara first meets Lindsay Carlisle, she finds herself in the position of caring about someone for the first time in forever — an idea she’s not entirely sure she’s ready for,” exec producer Phil Klemmer told EW.com.

Legends of Tomorrow casts lady love interest for White Canary http://www.ew.com/article/2015/12/25/legends-tomorrow-sara-white-canary-love-interest-ali-liebert
The Kyle XY and Fringe alum will play Lindsay Carlisle, a soft-spoken, intelligent lady who is the ideal picture of 1950s womanhood. Although she might seem at home amongst the strict morals of the time, she harbors a dark secret: she’s a lesbian. Confused and scared, it seems she is doomed to suffer alone in a backwards time … until she falls for a girl from the future, Sara Lance.“At the start of this episode, we find Sara Lance completely out of place, both in time and place, visiting 1958 ‘Pleasantville, America’ — and also out of place emotionally,” executive producer Phil Klemmer tells EW. “After Sara was brought back from the dead on Arrow, she hasn’t been herself — she’s been consumed by a quest for bloodshed and incapable of having romantic feelings for anyone. The strict social norms of the fifties makes this the last place Sara Lance would ever expect to find love with a young, closeted nurse, but that’s how love works — it finds you.”

Legends of Tomorrow Review: Despite a Bumpy Take-Off, The CW's Hero/Villain Mash-Up Promises Good Times https://www.yahoo.com/tv/legends-tomorrow-review-despite-bumpy-181717449.html
The first two episodes touch on the show’s rules of time travel as well as give a sense of from where the weekly drama will come. Simply said, the Legends most often will either be following a lead that might allow them to intercept Savage at a time prior to 2166 (when he conquers and runs roughshod over the globe), or scrambling to undo a ripple they accidentally caused in the timeline. On that latter front, there is the potential to serve up the occasional Back to the Future-like folly — as happens in the super-enjoyable second episode, when Professor Stein (Victor Garber) fails to not bump into his younger, groovier self.

See 'eight outcasts' assemble in new Legends of Tomorrow trailer http://www.ew.com/article/2015/12/28/legends-tomorrow-trailer-arrow-flash-spin-off
“I chose you eight to travel throughout time because the future of the world is in peril,” says Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill). The upcoming spin-off from the universe of Arrow and The Flash sees these “eight outcasts” join forces to battle immortal supervillain Vandal Savage, who’s hellbent on destroying the planet.Sara Lance, a.k.a. White Canary, played by Caity Lotz, is but one of the teaser’s highlights. Aside from her exceptional knife skills, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) executes a pop-out attack on his enemies, Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) and Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel) swoop into the scene, and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) bemoans their villainous “Boba Fett” lookalike.DC's Legends of Tomorrow | One Chance Trailer | The CW...

New 'Legends of Tomorrow' Trailer: Does Chronos Have a History with the Team? http://news.yahoo.com/legends-of-tomorrow-chronos-new-villain-atom-124335489.html
Who’s the “new and very huge problem” that faces the Legends of Tomorrow in The CW’s most recent trailer? As if Vandal Savage isn’t enough, now there’s someone with a big gun, a metal face, and vaguely Boba Fett-ish vibe. His name is Chronos, a longtime Atom villain that some fans have been hoping to see. Introduced in 1962 as just a common thief with a well-developed internal clock (remember the singing gimmick from Hudson Hawk? Yeah, that bad), he eventually developed technology that allowed him to time travel.

Another 'Legends of Tomorrow' trailer, and this show looks like a lot of fun https://www.yahoo.com/tv/another-legends-tomorrow-trailer-show-174600876.html
We've got another "Legends of Tomorrow" trailer, and this one -- like the last one -- focuses more on the fun side of the upcoming CW show. Also, there's a Boba Fett joke. And plenty of action and explosions and White Canary throwing like 12,042 knives at people, despite being told not to bring any weapons to a meeting with ominous characters. (Speaking of White Canary, she will apparently get a love interest whenever our Legends travel back to the 50s, according to this Entertainment Weekly casting announcement.) It's really shaping up to be the DC version of "Guardians of the Galaxy" -- which could be a great, or, if it doesn't live up to Marvel's blockbuster movie franchise, sad.

DC’s superheroes can’t stop picking fights in the latest Legends of Tomorrow preview http://news.yahoo.com/dc-superheroes-t-stop-picking-155104942.html
Clocking in at just over a minute, the teaser features the cast of colorful superheroes (and villains) doing what they do best: kicking bad guys’ butts all over history.Premiering in January, Legends of Tomorrow brings together supporting cast members from Arrow and The Flash for their own, ongoing series that has them traveling through time with adventurer Rip Hunter (played by Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill) and attempting to thwart the diabolical machinations of the immortal villain Vandal Savage (Casper Crump). Along with their battle against Savage, the team must contend with their own conflicting loyalties due to the presence of a pair of villains, a resurrected killer, and various other MISMATCHED members who will need to act like a team if they’re ever going to become legends.Along with Darvill and Crump, the series stars Victor Garber (The Flash) as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh (Arrow, Superman Returns) as Ray Palmer, Caity Lotz (Arrow) as White Canary, Ciarra Renee (The Flash) as Hawkgirl, and Franz Drameh (The Flash) as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson, Dominic Purcell (The Flash, Prison Break) as Heat Wave, Falk Hentschel (Arrow) as Hawkman, and Wentworth Miller (The Flash, Prison Break) as Captain Cold.
