Cut the tree down?

Unlikely. It is in the neighbor's yard and is probably a 150 year old red oak. I am getting 72% rather consistently on my coolsat pro (hispasat if you are curious, 24o at my location). Would I benefit from a larger dish (wife won't approve of anything over 36") or an Invacom? The dish is not aimed at the trunk itself, but well into the leafy section. I am currently using a winegard DS2076 with a "geosat pro" lnb claiming to have .4 noise level. Some channels come in solid, some with significant blocking (ie Tango channel, BocaTV).

A larger dish and a lower noise LNBF will help in the short term. But the problem will get worse as the years go by. The only real cure is to get the dish as high and as far away from the tree as possible.

Are you sure the dish is pointing at the tree?
