Why can't dish allow subscribers to access customer service through broadband instead of phone line?
 
I think he means through his receiver. I agree if your connected High Speed , You should be able to connect to the customer service right from your receiver,instead of the crappy slow phone line.
 
Secure, yes maybe that is the problem but also web chat goes over WAN and they verify some of your information right there. Aren't online movie downloads also secure? I think only reason they want us to use modem "dialup" is that we will continue to keep our recivers connected to phoneline....right?
