CS 8100HD and EPG Test entry

This receiver shows test for up to 3 or 4 channels on Hispasat 30W (fixed now) sometimes while at the same time my other CS 6000 and CW 650s premium does not show anything.

Could it be glitch on the EPG software of the receiver or is it really that these channels are testing the EPG feature but with new implementations that the old receivers can not get?. Solo Tango, Scopus net, Cubavision and Tele Rebelde are the only ones that show this test with a 12 hour cicle.

I am thinking a glitch on the firmware since it always happens with the same channels although not necessarilly at the same time.

I've seen that on the Coolsat 8000 (same unit as the 8100 minus a PVR) where it shows a weird EPG like "test" or "current" and "next". Seen it on the G18 channels and on the C_Band G16 channels like World Harvest

I just chalk it up to a gremlin in the firmware

If you want to test EPG some, try G19 at 97W. I've noticed some channels will have EPG info , most do not, and sometimes it only seems to last for a day or two. Its too bad nobody seems to want to use it much on most of the other fta channels.

other than some chinese channels I dont know of any other channel on 97W that has EPG?

I wish more stations would have a EPG...,would be kinda nice to have
