Credit Card stolen, updating Auto Pay and it won't take Amex anymore

The rep obviously had to research or ask for answers. Is their job one that they normally don't deal with questions like this ? Maybe so....

I actually commend him for that. Instead of just giving some BS answer, he researched and verified that it does work. How many times have we all bitched about how they just give answers and do not have any idea what they are talking about.

I had this issue a month or so ago. I believe if you just put your card number in the field it will then give you the option to select American Express. Mine was a Discover card that wasn't in the initial drop down and this method worked.

Finally got it to work, you have to hit the submit button several times to get it to pop up this way. Strange, but it worked.

That's a sneaky way to discourage people from using AMEX, huh ?

Not to bash Dish, but this doesn't surprise me one bit.

Your paying more money to take Amex than the other 3 cards. Most retailers discourage Amex whenever possible.

People ask me all the time if we take AMEX, and I'm like ABSOLUTELY!!

People who have AMEX are generally better customers.

I'll take Amex anyday, and gladly pay the higher processing fees.
