Well I was thinking if Ion does ever get on KLFY, then I wasted time and space starting this thread
was mentioned in the Ion threadMedia General station WRIC has finally replaced Living Well.
The replacement is Ion.
Skipped that one probably because of Quad Cities in the title. Programming has started now.was mentioned in the Ion thread

A few MG stations have added Ion in areas where Ion has no affiliate
And we both thought Media General wasn't going to add anything. Only 3 of the 6 didnt not have Ion in the markets at the time, Yours and WBAY (both of you have ION already), and well KLFY which we're still waiting.Skipped that one probably because of Quad Cities in the title. That's how I felt when I had asked you a week ago if something was going to launch on the station (think it was on the comet thread). Then when we gave up, something launched. I guess 5 months is short or long depending on how you take it. At the rate things were going (with the Meredith deal and Nexstar going postal trying to buy MG) we could have been waiting longer. Then I'd just would have had to really lay down because I know the more I posted about when we were getting something and the longer we would have waited (longer than we have now), then I just could't keep posting about it, it would have been a waste and I don't want you guys to think I am crazy or something or having to read the same sh*t day in and day out thinking, "What's wrong with this guy, it's only a subchannel replacement."Well it did take A LLLLLOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGG time. Sort of gave up.
Just asking on which subchannel did the Ion launchon WRIC....the .2 or .3Media General station WRIC has finally replaced Living Well.

Not to get off the subject Fred. You have a nice DMA subchannel set up. I counted 8 subchannels (excluding the PBS and LP religious ones)......Not bad for a Tribune, MG, Sinclair, and Raycom in the market........Love the FOX 35 Setup. Fox on the .1 MNTV/This on the .2 (yeah you dont have to see the b.s. block of drama during the day, that's when This TV comes on. Wonderful I love it) then the new Comet on the .3..........
Thats good. I seen there were 5 of the major networks carrying a total of 8, thats neat. Oh the res like the H&I bunch, how you get it this other way (FTA).In addition to the subchannels I get OTA (Antenna, Ion, Me, Escape, This, Comet, Bounce, Grit), I receive most of the rest FTA: Cozi, H&I, Retro, Laff, Justice, Buzzr etc.. Plenty of good programming.
FTA requires a separate receiver and in most cases (when it comes to those stations) a 8 foot or larger dish (and it has to move as there are a couple different satellites those are on)FRED555. This FTA program you have access to, How do I get it. There is a website called lyngsat.
I really hate to bother you with this. Whenever you decide to rescan your tv, when your done and see if WRIC has this labelMedia General station WRIC has finally replaced Living Well.
