Couple of quick HD DVR questions

Now that I am making the switch, and yes I have a friend who I am giving the referral too, I have a couple of DVR questions.

First, is there a PIP function? If there is, can it be side by side like Dishes DVR?

Second, what can I do so that they do not have to run two cables to the DVRs?

There is not PIP function built into the Directv DVR's.

You would have to ask if they have the SWM Dish in your area to avoid 2 wires or purchase a Single Wire Multiswitch that could be used.
