Costco Selling 622 with Rebate, what is the rebate

Tagging along on this one. I would like to replace my 501 with another 622

I bought one from Costco and submitted the rebate, I will let you know how it all works out. I already had one 622 now I have 2 so we will see.

Only Costco warehouses in the mountain region and the northwest (a few in Cali) are carrying the D* HD equipment.

If you upgrade by buying the receiver at Costco you get a FREE INSTALL! I did my homework and found this out. If you upgrade anywhere else you will pay $50-$100 for the install.

The way it worked was I bought the 622 and submitted the rebate form. About six weeks later I got my check for $270. When you submit for the rebate the receiver becomes leased but who cares really? I paid $179 instead of $199 and the install was free.

I still got the $100 in bill credits for upgrading to one of their HD packages.

The 622 rocks!
