Copying to EX hard drive and double HD recording at the same time

Is there any 'harm' if in the middle of moving shows to the external hard drive, two HD recording started?

Does the internal hard drive has the capacity to do 'so much work' at once? Any chance losing data or getting imperfect HD recordings as the result?

The receiver should be able to handle this just fine. I have a 622, and I have been recording 3 different HD shows at once (2 from sat, 1 OTA) while at the same time watching two different recorded shows on the two outputs. If it can handle that, it should be able to handle what you propose!

No problems here either (with my 622 or my 722). I usually do my transferring at night when there are multiple HD shows recording because that is when I'm in front of the TV and think about it.
