Has anyone found a way to copy timers between images? I have a whole slew of timers set in OpenVix and would like to copy them over to some other images for testing purposes.

YES. Copy "timers.xml" file from your Vix image that has the timers, to your pc. Then, replace the empty ones in the other images, after booting to them in turn. Then, restart Enigma in those.

It's located in: /root/etc/enigma2

I've done it through Network Neighborhood on my Windows 7 Pro laptop.

Well, I finally got around to trying this. Copied the Timers.XML file from OpenVix into the same folder in OpenPLi. When I reboot the receiver it reverts back to the empty Timers.XML file. Any ideas?

Wow, things just don't work for you like they do for me, my pc must be magic. Do this, download PuTTY. Set it up to Telnet to your Mio's IP address. Or if you have another Telnet program, use that:

(1) Telnet to box with PuTTY, login with: root
(2) Telnet Command: init 4
(3) FTP the new Timer.xml file to /etc/enigma2. (The file will replace the original file in /etc/enigma2.)
(4) Telnet Command init 3

init 4 sleeps the operating system so it'll take the new Timers file.
init 3 awakes the operating system afterwards.

Filezilla is a good program for doing FTP transfers.

OH, you said you "REBOOT" the receiver. Did you really mean reboot? You just need to restart ENIGMA, not a full reboot.
