Coolsat5000Platinum

Hi, just wondering why my Coolsat5000Platinum does not decode 5.1 through the Optical Out when I am on a channel that is broadcasting in DD?? My AV receiver shows that the channel is decoding 2 channel stereo instead.

Just a reminder that a DD channel could be sending DD 2.0, 3.1, or 5.1. There are many times that a DD channel is only sending stereo.
