Coolsat 6000 Transponder Option SG2100

Cannot enter the strongest suggested 72.0 W AMC 6 transponder frequency in Coolsat 6000 SG2100 motorized setup screen. Only has 18 pre-set frequencies fo choose from. Should the TP frequency closest to the strongest suggested TP frequency be selected? 12143 is suggested, but the closest Coolsat 6000 pre-set available is 12181. Is this close enough? Trying to lock the 72.0 W AMC 6 satellite in first. It is true south satellite.

if you goto the manual scan section it will let you add a transponder with the green button on the remote

Not sure where manual scan section is. Is it Dish Setting or Motorized Setting screen?

one of the options is manual scan

press green button and enter the following
12143 frequency
V polarity
2573 symbol rate

Trying to lock in the true south 72.0 W AMC6 satellite, but manual scan only scans after signal has been locked in. How is the strongest TP frequency entered in Coolsat 6000 motorized setup screen. There are 18 pre-set frequencies. No option to add one.

Then 72.0 W AMC 6 should be locked in using the Manual Scan Level and Quality bars?

once you log the channel into the manual scan setup then that will allow you to select it again to move the dish/motor setup

But the channel has to be logged in as a transponder before moving the dish/motor assembly or you wont get any signal

Thanks, new TP now listed in motorized setting screen. Should be easy to lock in signal now.
