Coolsat 4k/5k/6k Diseqc 1.0/1.1 daisychained

Will a Coolsat 4000, 5000, or 6000, support a diseqc 1.0 and 1.1 switches inline, one after the other?

yes

the Diseqc 1.1 switch (usually a 8x1) needs to be UNCOMMITTED ONLY...Digiwave makes one like that. This allows you to add 4x1 switches to the ports on the 8x1

setup is easy
Diseqc 1.1 is the port on the 8x1 (1-8)
Diseqc 1.0 is the port on the 4x1

Do not get a COMMITTED/UNCOMMITTED one like Emp Centauri...I couldnt get that to work

That wouldn't be an issue. I've got two digiwave uncommitted switches that I haven't been able to use up to now.

Though, I have gotten my EMP Centauri switch to do what you described. My Viewsat wouldn't work with the EMP switch before a regular 1.0 switch because the first four ports on the EMP are 1.0 compatible. A 1.0 switch before it will intercept the 1.0 commands, and pass the 1.2 commands on to the EMP.

The 5000 I have works just fine with Diseqc 1.1 & 1.0...Visionsat will work with it too
