contolling Roku with DISH 52 remote

Can I control my Roku witht he Dish 52 remote? How do I set that up?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find this when I searched.

Newer Roku units use WiFi remotes. If yours is newer, it won't work.

I tested all of the available options and the only Roku that appeared was the Sound Bridge. So, the answer is no, you can't control your Roku with the 52 or any other Dish remote.

I have a Roku Ultra, there is no newer, and I can control it with my Harmony IR remote. That said, I answered the question with the previous post.

If you have access to a hamony remote I don't see any reason why you couldn't teach the IR codes to the DISH remote.

If he had a Harmony remote there is no need to teach any commands any commands at all. Once you program the Roku into it they are all there. That coupled with the newer Roku remotes not having IR makes that impossible.

Dont know about 52 remote but I have a roku 4 in the bedroom and a roku premier in the living room and can control both with my dish 40.0 remotes
