Connecting VCR to VIP222k

We just moved and I'm trying to get my VCR to work like it did before without having to disconnect wires each time. My wife started disconnecting everything before I could check the set up, so I'm having trouble with it. I can get the VCR to play a movie, but then to get the satellite to work on TV1, I have to change the connections. Any help on this one? Thanks.

We need to know more info. What type of TV, what are it's inputs. Does it have hdmi? If so, was the TV connected to the 222 via hdmi and the vcr to the TV by RCA cables?

rca(composite) cable from 222k video/audio out to VCR input, then rca's out from vcr to tv inputs....on vcr change input to either L1 or L2..depends what input on your vcr
