Connect OTA antenna to FTA reciever

I have a FTA reciever and I it has two coaxial inputs, one for satellite and one for OTA. My question is will the channels be displayed through the FTA reciever and will they be in high def? The FTA reciever is a fortec ultra which doesnt decode hd so I dont think it will work but just checking.
