computer set-up for media share

Hi,

For some reason, my computer won't load Directv2PC. The error message says my firewall is blocking the connection, but I shut off my firewall. Could I get help please?? Thanks!!

First thing I can think of off the top of my head is an anti-virus program such as Norton or McAfee has their firewall on. Maybe you have your computer double firewalled.

Also your router might be blocking the ports that Directv2PC needs to use.

I am using Norton Ant-Virus with firewall, but I am not sure how to turn off Norton's...
