Computer Controled A/B Switch?

they are out there, ESL, Cytec, DataProbe just a few of the companies that make them.. but most are rack mount and dont run with a GUI as you would know from a windows environment, ussually linux based..
however, radio shack has IR remote contolled units both A/B and other multi media switches that can be incorporated in the computer with software/automated home systems
 
that phonedial computer A/B switch has to be connected to the computer via the DB cable which would be ok if the puter is close to the A/B switch, whereas the IR models with some additional components( IR emitter eye cables) can be controlled wirelessly via the computer and virtual ir blaster software,,i am sure both can be switched from anywhere in the world via the net!!!( much like the Slingbox IR abilites) which if you have the slingbox,, you can jump up to ( using generic IR emmiter splitters found on the net)3 devices to use thier IR ablities with the device not actually having video feeds into the Sling , purely use it for the remote abitlites.....
