Complicated "Moving" Question

This question has me stumped and I could really use the expertise. I live in Columbus, Ohio which does NOT yet have the locals in HD. So after lots of reading I was debating a "move" of sorts. I am originally from Philadelphia and would LOVE to get the Philly locals in HD so I can see my beloved Eagles play. The problem here though is that I am also a huge Flyers fan. As many local Philadelphians know, you can only see Flyers games in Philly if you subscribe to CSN Philadelphia which is NOT available to satellite subs. So for Philly residents, you can't even see the Flyers on NHL Center Ice because of those weird blackout rules. What I don't know know is if there is a line somewhere where I could get the Philly HD locals but not be in the Flyers/Comcast blackout zone. Anyone have any ideas or information? I'm really stumped. Thanks!

Try using one receiver and set it up on a separate account for the NHL package only. You still will not get all the Flyers games since no Comcast Phily, but you should get more than half. Hopefully you are close enough to still get Phily sd channels as they are on spotbeams to get hockey on ch 57. The HD locals are consus.

I believe that all of the Philadelphia DMA is considered Flyers territory, so if you "move" to Philly for the HD locals you will not get to watch the Flyers. As said above you could technically have a second account with your home address just for NHL Center Ice, Dish would tack on $5/mo. for not having a base package, and no Blue Jackets games for you. Perhaps somneone else who has actually tried this will let you know if Dish's accounting system will let you do this.

I'm not sure I follow. How would I setup a seperate receiver on a seperate account, can you explain further, I'm confused.

Have the one account for your current home and set up a second account using a valid Philadelphia address, you could have the local one with just the NHL package for just the Flyers games and the second for the HD including Phily locals.

Should all channels go full hd?
