We are trying to hook up our D12-700 receiver with our ZKF-DX54 Dish on our houseboat and cannot get a satellite signal. Are these components compatible?

I googled the dish model and its a Phase III LNB so yes it will work
You will need to go into the sat setup and make sure its set to 3LNB. I cant check it on mine as I have a SWM setup but its usually the 2nd option in the list (1st is a 18" dish). Then you can reaim the dish

No, the phase III dish is aligned on 110.....the slimline dishes and the 18in round dishes are aligned on 101...
You need to make sure satellite setup is correct. If your receiver is attached to an SWM dish at home, connect it to the Phase II dish, go into sat setup, select "multiswitch" and then the 3lnb oval dish. Then start the alignment process.
