Comments on Dish upgrade

I was out of country for couple of months for business, and is a litle behind all the news with Dish.

I got a email from Dish about the free upgrade my Dish antenna in order to continue my current international programming (couple of Chinese packages). I called Dish and spoke to CSR and according her comments, I need the new Dish for 118.

I am currently have the SuperDish 121 plus 61.5, and all the Chinese programs are available on both 121 and 118 according Dish web site. Is Dish planning to discontinue using of 121? Are all the programs on 121 have mirrored on 118?

I just hate to do anything just becasue Dish said and find later that I could miss something.

The international channels are for the most part being moved off of 121 and onto 118. There is a repoint kit available for your SuperDish. It should be as simple as replacing the LNB assembly and repeaking the dish.
