First game is November 11th vs. Detroit. Hopefully we will see a half to a dozen games this season thanks to Rocky Wirtz. A rumor I hear is possibly 11 home telecasts.

They have said that it would take more time to arrange that. Rumor today is that they may have 11-12 home games on this season.

Because the old man who just died would NOT allow broadcasts of most home games, I think that he allowed a few to be broadcast.

NO home games were 'allowed' ever. Any time there was a home game on it was due to contractual requirements. Last year 5 games were on only because comcast sportsnet was promised all of the road games. When NBC and versus picked some of those up, CONTRACTUALLY they got to broadcast those home games.

Thank God the policy is gone. The problem is NONE yes NONE of the AWAY games (The ones they already planned on broadcasting) are in HD. What a joke.
