Combine Satllites

Soon I will be adding another 36in Dish to my system. I was wanting to know if there is anything I need to know. I will be using a motor with one and the other a stand alone. I will be using a 4x1 DiSEqc Switch. Never done this before. How does the motor know which satillite to move? I will have one RG6 cable going back to the box in the house. Any ideas would be great. Thanks to all!
