CNBC HD Problem

I was watching CNBC HD on Wednesday around noon. Warren buffet was in a box at the bottom of screen. There was a message that says to listen to this audio change your audio feed to SAP.


I have a VIP 211 and I cannot find the SAP anywhere.


My TV has SAP however it only works on the ANT port. I also tried this on my buddies Panasonic plasma and SAP only worked on ANT port.


Is there any way to switch a dish network ird like vip 211 into SAP mode?

PCM and Digital, thats all I know of available on the reciever! Sounds like I wouldn't lose to much sleep on this one, just let it be!

CNBC HD+ (the actual name of the service) purposely does this to air actual secondary audio feeds. What HD+ does is it shifts the SD picture to the left side and uses the new space for informational data and alternate video.

Just informing those who don't know the big picture.

I would try setting your audio to Spanish, just a guess.

kb7oeb, Tried that and the ALT setting no luck.

I had the same problem. Called support and told to select alt as said above. This was on a 622. I just exchanged my 942 for a 722 today. I will check next week when CNBC HD+ has one of those SAP deals. I don't think it is working properly.
