Cloo to shutdown

There are reports on the web that Cloo channel is being shutdown on 31st of December, is this true? Are they going to replace it?

Makes sense this would be shut down, Dish dropped this channel a few years ago cause it was nothing but reruns and a waste of bandwidth.

Doesn't that describe most cable channels? Frankly I don't mind "reruns" per se but at least get some variety. Channels like metv and antenna do well because they have a wide range of programs spanning many years. Cloo (and most cable chs) play all day marathons of NCIS and SVU from 5 years ago.

Although it is a worthless channel, do you have a link? I can't seem to find anything about this online.

Looks like that stems from an edit on Wikipedia (since removed) claiming that the channel shuts down on dec 31 "as all carriage deals expire."
