This channel at last appear to be digital on Galaxy 15 at 133W C-Band...I check the beam-map I probably can get the signal with 1.2m dish...

Please confirm if the signal is available:
Galaxy 15 at 133.0°W - LyngSat

And if I can use one of my Pansats or Coolsat 5000.

Thanks

It's there, regular DVB, so you should be set receiver wise, don't know about using a 1.2.

yes, I doubt a 1.2 will work - you have cable birds 2 deg apart through that region and they are pretty full of signals, opening up all sorts of opportunity for co-sat interference.

you need a 8.5' dish or larger for best results.

Uhhh...ok....I think 1.2m because thats show Lyngsat for my location... It says 1.2m is good for catching Satmex 5 C-band too.

Very interferences? I did not know!

It is very much difficult pointing C-band?

Some time ago I reported that the analog signal was there but (for me at least) was interrupted by an RF blip every 7 seconds or so. I never found the cause for this and gave up on CAS at that time. I'm happy to say that this DVB signal is clear and does not suffer the same issue. Comes in reasonably strongly on a beaten up CM 10 footer.

I dunno about a 1.2 dish. It's solid and very watchable here @95W using a 7.5' on a Coolsat 6000, but @ 69-70 is is not far above the 62-63 threshhold. The Cailifornia Channel is listed as 'weak' and I have it just below ARTS at 66-68,same dish setup.
I havent had any co/cross ch interference on the 6K that I've noticed, and I'm shooting across several birds that are only a few clicks apart from my angle. While it is a relitive pain pinpointing on Ku, compared to C band, this 7.5 footer is kind of wide beamed. I cant see a 1.2 usable if there are birds that have adjacent channels in it's beamwidth that could overpower the one you want.
The channel is clear here, PQ is very nice, but I half keep expecting to see my o so familiar sparklies now and then. Just dont seem right to watch a ballet or an orchestra performance without them..........lol

Lyngsat needs to remove that crud from their website - they totally ignore satellite dish beamwidth. If you didn't have any sats within about 3-4 deg of either side of G15, a 1.2m dish would be fine if that is what lyngsat's table says given G15's power.

otherwise, it's a crapshoot with a lot of factors as to whether a desired signal is receivable on a 1.2m. the only way to know for sure is to try.

I find c-band easy to install and align (because I use the less forgiving Ku-band to do that stuff. ;) I think my signal meter has enough resolution in actual signal level figures that I probably could do just fine on a c-band only system install/alignment.
