Circuit City $300 Off Promotion ?

Is anyone familiar with this offer (it was in today's Circuit City ad).

It says: "Save $300 instantly when you add DIRECTV HD to an HDTV 30 inch & up"

I am a current DIRECTV customer, but I don't have HD. I don't see anything in the fine print that would prevent an existing subscriber from getting $300 off if they are upgrading to HD.

Does anyone know if I am elligible?

damm and I just signed up as a new DIRECTV customer about a month ago.

yep, you can almost always bet that any deal like this is through new customer signups, that way they can recoup the $300 (or whatever) back from DirecTV

Ya, normally they don't offer to much to existing subs. Unfortunatly
