Cinemax Free throughout December!

I just received my Direct TV statement in the mail and it states that I have been chosen to receive a complimentary free month of Cinemax throughout the month of December. This is perfect timing since my 3 months of free HBO, SHO and Starz is due to run out any day now. Anyone else getting a free month of Cinemax next month?

After a series of excruciating phone calls to CSRs and inane email responses, I finally got:

“Dear Mr.,

Thanks for writing us back about the Cinemax December promotion. Please allow me to assist you.

I apologize for any confusion, but the Cinemax December bonus promotion was not given to all subscribers. It was only given out to select DIRECTV customers.”

Well that explains it? The best part were emails telling me to call the CSR, and after I did, a follow-up email telling me to use the website. Bottom line, no freebie for me.

I am going on my 3 months with D*. I have an HR20, H20 and SD-Receiver. I also have the Plus HD package.

Free Cinemax is great!

uh i dont pay online, and i just upgraded to HD like 2-3 weeks ago and i havent got crap "free" for doing so. like the satellite companys to always stick it to long time subscribers lol

What I was told when I called was that they were offering Cinemax to certain HBO subscribers only for the month of December. I guess it depends on what CSR you speak with for the info you receive.

For some reason I still have Cinemax HD but not SD. My 6 months free ran out December 1st. But for some reason I still get the HD version.

My free 3 months of HBO, Sho, Starz all ran out too on Dec. 1st. However, even though they cut off the SD versions of these channels, I too still get the HD versions of them.....

So now I'm getting HBO-HD, Sho-HD, Starz-HD and Cinemax-HD all Free!!!
