Cinemax for 1 year for .01 w/ autopay/paperless billing

I used online chat. CSR didnt even question, justed added it right away. Was told it will automatically renew after 1 year and "If a customer cancels AutoPay with Paperless Billing, they will no longer receive Annual Cinemax for a Penny and will be charged the full price. Customers must call to cancel Cinemax to avoid being charged the full price. "
 
I did it through live chat and pinned (3) Sheena P down on the cost of $.01 for the year plus auto renewal for another year for a Penny. Then I copied the chat into a word document to use when I have to e-mail CEO when they screw up the billing.

I am also fighting with them to get my $10/mo credit for the 3 mo Showtime preview I signed up for in October.

Dish customer service sucks, then never get it right the first time.
 
It worked through Live Chat with CSR Michelle for me too. I already had autopay and paperless billing. Good deal-after football season ends I can cancel HBO and still see the same movies with at least 1 HD channel.
 
I only have a checking account and no credit cards, can I still get this deal? Credit cards are such B.S. I have cancelled all of mine after I got out of debt.
 
nope I will not stoop to the plastic low ever again, screw the credit card companies. I especially hate Visa and their commercials. I'll take my cash and slow everyone down in line as many times as I want. Stop paying for gas with your credit cards as well, it drives the price up with the fees they charge for every transaction.
 
Need help anyone!!!! I have been denied for 2 hours now, no luck. They all say NO cause i have Cinemax already!!! I think that is crap, maybe if I email Charlie I would have some luck there
 
Did it online with a CSR. $.01/year with renew for 1 addl. year. So 2 years of Cinemax for $.02 as long as automatic bill pay and paperless billing are kept. Not a bad deal, though Starz would have been better. ;)
 
I just signed up for the promo thru the 800 #, the terms were the same as the others had said, if you cancel paperless billing (Katina (?) the csr, didn't mention if you cancelled cc autopay) the price will revert to the then current rate. I was already on cc autopay & paperless billing anyway so this is a sweet deal. Thanks to the o.p. for the heads up on this :D
Maybe Charlie is doing this to distract us from wanting to switch to D* for more HD!

I was just on slickdeals, there is a thread that you can subscribe to cinemax for 1 year for .01. Call dish, got to billing, sign up for auto pay or paperless billing and they will add cinemax for .01. I already did this it took 2 minutes.

Thanks hdhead. I was never a big fan of Cinemax but one cent for a year is a bargain and most of us would never have heard of this without you.

One of the other members here had someone sell him on this a year or so ago and it turned out to be bogus and I think it came from dish csr, Bob Haller have you read this thread yet?
 
Got shot down by a CSR first because I already have autopay so I did the chat thing online and the chat CSR Joseph set me up right away no problem. Also took the opportunity to cancel my 3 months free of Showtime since that was almost up as well. Total took about 2 minutes. He also mentioned the 1 more year for 1 cent deal if I keep paperless billing and autopay.
 
I called the 800 number since the online chat wasnt available. India CSR knew about the promo and claimed she set me up, and it would take 15-20mins for the channel to activate. Well 45 mins later I go online and dont see anything listed under premiums on my account. I used the online chat and the guy said cinemax was never added to my account. He then added it and said it will be 15-20 minutes. Just checked and now I have Cinemax, woohoo!

Thanks to the OP for the deal. No thanks to the crappy India CSR.

Yea mine never showed online either, but it did show up on the receiver.
 
Well, according to the CSR I just spoke too, I cannot sign up for this plan since my bill goes through my phone company and my phone company bills me directly with my internet and phone service. So if anyone has success getting this promotion when not being billed directly through Dish let me know! I want this promotion!!!
