Cinemagic?

After the holidays, 81 was supposed to be Movie Soundtracks, I tuned in today and it was a looping ad for 81 becoming a Disco channel. I've been wanting Cinemagic since I heard about the merger and now it doesn't seem to be happening.

Anyone know anything about this?

It existed all of maybe three days. 1/2-1/4. Then the new ID. Merger thing has been a bit weird.

I listened to it from time to time, but I never really liked anything I heard, so I don't care if it doesn't come back.

As a musician it was really interesting to hear some classic scores as well as great recordings of concert versions of recent film scores. But it lasted all of three days so there wasn't much time to form an opinion about the depth of the channels rep. IMO

Bigger question is why hype the new format all Christmas long, launch it and then pull it after a few days? How was there time enough for any valuable feedback? What's going on with Sirius/XM management?

I love film scores, I own many on CD, so this channel is something that really appealed to me, but since this was the first day I had a chance to listen, I was very disappointed to find it not even operating.

It's still on the XM side AFAIK.

Yep Channel 76 on the radios, or 35 when On-Line....
