If they would just add 3 more Cinemax channels, Like Action Max ,5 Star Max ,and maybe 1 more of the others. NOT A WEST FEED Either. I'd be sold enough. And get TIVO software installed lets not forget.

I would be fine with that. D* dvr's sorry but need to function like E*'s. Their never slow, and have a ton of functions. If I could put all the guts from a E* receiver into a D* HR and have E*'s premiums,superstation,All american Direct, DPP,Eastern Arc with D* stable company tactics . I'd be good to go.

24 is now on in HD. I am currently at work on my (during my conference period) so I cannot see it. Is it in HD or is it stretched HD?

I didn't check this morning but apparently CIHD is up on 275 and available to those that have the HD Extra Pack. However, some people had to reset their services to see it. You can do this online at Directv.com.

Hmmm, since I am at work & this is the first I am hearing of this, I think I will just schedule a recording. That ought to do the trick of updating, eh :up

Well I chickened out after I read some more responses in this thread. I reauthorized both of my HR20-700's & then set my Bedroom box to record SWAT (listed as HD?) at 1700 Eastern. Wish me luck

This station is rumored to be added this week or next.

Excellent.. I have been waiting for this channel. I was really disappointed that ID (Investigation Discovery) didn't go HD, while we got Planet Green in HD. This should fill that void, as it is a similar channel. Good stuff.

Overall, I am totally glad to see DirecTV trickling out HD. I was really starting to get fed up but getting Fox News HD shut me up for a while somewhat. I still wish they would add the promised HBO/MAX channels and also Travel Channel HD.

I reset my box and still getting error 721. I subscribe to the HD Extra pak.

Only available for HD Extra Pack customers? It figures. I was hoping some new HD would launch this week such as Travel HD. So I guess this is what was meant when new HD would be added in October. Kind of a bummer!
