Christmas favors from DISH?

I recall that last year and perhaps years before, DISH gave special discounts or freebies to existing customers at Christmas time. Either free or very cheap replacement remotes or such. But you had to know to ask (and find a CSR who knew about the promotions).

Can you get us an update on any such plans for this year?

I got a free remote from Dish last year, and only heard about the promotion from Satelliteguys. I sure hope they are doing it again this year, as I now need another remote.

Hmm... they do have that really nice learning remote coming out next month...
