its scrambled so if you scan just "free" channels it wont even show up on the list
(when you do a scan, you can scan free or all. Scrambkled stuff will show a black screen)
InXtc is an encrypted channel; in order to have access to it you would need a receiver compatible with its conditional access system and an activated card that would require a subscription. With a basic FTA receiver I don’t think you are in any danger of bringing this channel into your house, in fact having an Internet connection is 1000 times more dangerous than having a FTA system pointed at IA-5 in that respect.
You don't really block out channels, you delete them from the channel list. Then as far as your receiver is concerned, the channel doesn't exist. No one can accidentally tune in because it's not there on your receiver.
Or instead of scanning the entire satellite, you could manually add just the channels you want to watch.
