Chevron 4030

[HCI]

I know I may be wasting my time but does anyone here do any Chevron jobs?

I always have problems when commissioning the modem with it not recieving the configuration. I almost always have to manually enter them through telnet.

Any ideas?

P.S. sometimes I can commission though my wireless but sometimes I have to do it via dialup. both ways give me problems.

have you checked to see if they have a downloadable .cfg file specific for those installs? we had a lot of problems with some enterprise work until we got the right .cfg file

I have not checked but all the sites have a different NAT address so how will this factor in? Maybe if you have the sat , VSAT management and the SDL address configured then after the software updates it will configure itself. I will try to leave the NAT to 0.0.0.0 my next install and if it works I will search for a .cfg file.
