Chat Rm/JAVA/W7-64

Just tried to enter Chat Room for Super Buddy chat. Said I needed to install additional plug ins (JAVA). Wouldn't install automatically, so I did so manually. Appeared to install fine, no error messages, got "finish" etc.

But it still won't run on my Windows 7 64 bit system. Just keeps telling me to install additional plug ins. Attempted reinstall just instantly refreshes the screen with no other action. Is this a known problem? Any workarounds?

did you install the 64-bit Java or the 32-Bit?

If 64, try the 32.

Works fine on Windows 64 bit.

Make sure you restart your browser after you install it. To see if JAVA is properly installed go to JAVA.COM.

Yep, running fine on this W7 64. Although I do have both 32 and 64 JAVA apps installed.

I don't recall having the option. But I'll go to java.com at both work and home and see what's up. Thanks to all for the assistance.
