I posted a question on the general D* site yesterday. However it was removed and do not know why. So I am posting it again on the tech portion of this site and maybe this time i can get an answer. The question: is there any info on what channels correspond to each transponder for each satalite?

From what I understand, there is no way to divine this info from the DirecTV signal. Dish network uses a system that is easily read, but DirecTV does not. So the answer to your question, I think, is no. There isn't.
Not by using the receiver, but there are some lists here on the forum that have this information.
Do a search for member 'gct'.
