Hey guys I have been using lyngsat to see what channels are on what satellite and transponder ect., It has been very helpful and I thought for the most part accurate.
I was trying to see what channels were listed for 61.5, 72.7 & 77, for eastern arc. The 61.5 page says it was updated 8-25-08, it does not show any info for a lot of cities that were on the latest launch on the 20th.
I have 2 EA installs to do tomorrow and trying to find out as much as possible. The boss assured me we have locals because retail services said we do in an email. We service 2 dma's and the one I work in actually does NOT have locals yet(Train Wreck!) the other dma does and that is also the primary office.
1st question. Can a customer still get the same programming on EA as WA, ie: comedy central, speed channel, sirius radio, ect. I am not seeing any of the channels listed on lyngsat.
2nd question. Can a person use a 500 aimed at 110 for locals to the input of the 1000.4 lnb?
I apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes by mentioning another site, just looking for solid answers and info. That's why I asked here on Satellite guys, just trying to be an informed installer that doesn't look like a deer in the headlights when a customer asks me a question.
Just a thought, but an EA section might be helpful. Easier to sort through info in one section rather than whole forum.
