Okay it's been a few weeks now, and I called DirecTV about the issue with this channel over a week ago. A few calls later up until now, it still has issues. I really want to watch it, but the sound has some static in it and is really distracting. They say the technical people are working on it to fix this issue. From my understanding, one of the people I talked to at DirecTV said the channel came in fine there. Does anyone else have audio problems on Newsmax, channel 349? Is there anything I can do to fix it on my end?
Plus, since I said they are working on it, they say they could send a technician out to take a look. Even though that that result is unlikely, I can't have that happen since I am "moved". What I want if that kind of outcome has to be, I want DirecTV to call me that that's the case, and I'll have an authorized third party DirecTV dealer to fix it. Third party dealers do the same kind of job the actual DirecTV people do, and that way I won't get red-flagged. I don't care if it costs me a little if it doesn't mean getting red-flagged I just want DirecTV to notify me first, then I'll say not to come, and I'll make some other arrangements. The lady at the DirecTV 800 number sounded as if she couldn't, but I really need to in this case, so is there anyway I can make it happen that way?
