Hello everyone,

The Pansat 2500A has the capability to move a mechanical servo to change the polarity (vertical/horizontail) on a C-Band dish.
The connections need to be as follows:

On Pansat connect "+5V" to the red wire coming from the servo
On Pansat connect "Pulse" to the white wire coming from the servo
On Pansat connect "GND" to the black wire coming from the servo

You should know be able to control the servo and adjust the servo via the "SKEW".

This is what is stated in the Pansat manual on pages 12 and 18 (para 2.1.6 Skew).

I tried this but wasn't able to get it to work. I put a scope on it and didn't see any signal on the +5V or the pulse . If things are working correctly you should see something like
The following:

The above is just showing what you should see. It is not a true represenation to the amount of pulses that you should see.

When I hooked up the scope to the analog receiver on the same points. I do see the pulses
when I change the channel from an odd to even channel.

Is anyone using the Pansat 2500A to change the polarity?

Please let me know if you have it working. I call Pansat and they claim that this function works.
