maybe they don't have a contract with Dish?

it starts in about 4 hours, but not on Dish because the two companies couldn't agree on a contract.

hmm... just checked myself. Didn't notice it at all! I only watch HD channels from philly because SD channels all look really bad on a big screen HD TV. Compared to regular SD channels on Dish, they really really look bad. Some of them, I actually get white haze.
