CFL 2013

would be closest to me now but still 2 days drive. would like to go there someday.
Driving directions Las Vegas, NV to Vancouver, BC, Canada
Distance: 1257.52 miles — Time: 19:08 h

It's further for me from Oklahoma. We just bought a place in Vegas though, so would be the same when I'm there, which probably won't be until September or October

it will be cooler then i hope lol
you going to move here ?

I was out there in March, my dad just came back this past Saturday. Vacation home for me and 2nd home for my dad and stepmom. My dad loves it there for poker and health reasons since he had 5 bypasses a few years ago. They already spend several months there throughout the year, so buying was a no brainer. Unfortunately my step mom contracted double pneumonia twice during remodeling and they came back because they were unhappy with the hospital care there. My step mom is having tests done for Valley Fever tomorrow by her primary physician here. We were having some problems with the contractor so I will probably go back and finish it myself when it cools off, so my dad and step mom can enjoy it. I'm also trying to get the City of Las Vegas as a new client for my business, along with Henderson, Clark County and North Las Vegas too. If I can get a contract with them it would equal my largest client now and I would probably be out there every 2-3 weeks rotating back and forth with my business partner or possibly hiring another adjuster to help out there.

sure hope your folk's are doing better.
the hospital care here is questionable at best, the one thing i miss here is the Cleveland Clinic and some foods.
don't gamble so... no trouble there. low taxes and no snow make it pretty nice.
good luck with getting those jobs here. came here to retire 10 years ago and it was booming here got offered jobs that were hard to turn down. the news paper was 12-16 pages full of help wanted ads. it's totally different now.
but the gov always has $$.

If you have access to ESPN3 the Tiger-Cats/Argos game is a barn burner right now.

I do, but I'm on my vpn at the moment, so it looks like I'm in Australia, I'll switch back in a few minutes, girlfriend would be unhappy if I stopped before the program we're watching now is finished.

although.....
I could use the watchespn app for espn 3 on my tablet now, she'll never notice

Lovely,it looks like the Saskatchewan Roughriders-Edmonton Eskimos game is going to be pre-empted by women's softball, are you kidding me?

Nothing wrong with Womens softball and I doubt it preempts much. Maybe 10 or 15mins, which is not bad. Better than the they do during the college football season, where you can miss an entire quarter sometimes.

NFL vs CFL ???

Thoughts to Ponder....
