CE's for the Weekend of 10.24

I did notice my dod never fully implemented on any box... I can search a program and find it on demand and view it just fine.. but any 1xxx channel (and obviously the guide +) is not currently available. I also nearly got divorced when I realized the walking dead didn't record either... a quick adjustment from the app and I recorded it in my office at 11 instead.

Everything populated on the channels but i didn't try to actually download anything.

Yea.. dod is our acronym for directv on demand. And my hr24s all view it fine but my 44.700 says cna. On like 1242 and such. If I search for a program it will show and allow me to stream it but the menu never loaded.

Ok, i will try one tonight when i get home and make sure it plays as well as the info loads.
I think my 44 is a -500, I know its not a -700.
 
Just got home. And checked again 1229 (HGTV) is currently not available

I wonder if it's shut down for testing the s#e#.... because if I search for rehab addict (which happens to be on right now) and it shows me every episode ever and the synopsis.. which I like.. not that I care about this show in particular... but if I go to other showings. 0 are available on demand.

That being said ch 1000 works. If I go to all then one of the first things on the list is #Great8 Plays5. From ESPNu which shows as 1208. I can select it and go to all seasons and get all the episodes listed.. or watch now. Watch now will play it. However.. if I just go to 1208.. it's not available. Also if I start at 1000 (which works) the browse by channel.. every listed channel is not currently available. I give up.. hope it gets fixed tomorrow night.
 
For the record, it is Thursday night, and my HR34-700 is still missing the group associated with My DIRECTV when that never fills in.

The group includes
  • no My DIRECTV
  • an empty Search/Movies
  • an empty Search/TV Shows
  • missing Pandora icon
  • missing YouTube icon
  • missing Parental Controls/Web Control
  • missing QuickTune logos

Ok, I d/l ed Covert Affairs the other night and the info is there where it belongs and the show is showing fine.

As of right now, 1229 is working ... at least it is showing shows in the list.
