Centric to Become BET Her on October 1st - Tony Scott

"BET’s sister network, Centric, is being rebranded as BET Her, starting October 1. It’s being billed as the first 24-hour network focused on African American women. BET is also adding shows, specials and miniseries. We told you about the Bobby Brown miniseries. BET is also planning a Death Row Records miniseries, a Kevin Hart show, a Steve Harvey-produced late-night talk show, a Wanda Sykes game show, and more."

Over at the other site, KyL416 had the perfect reply to this quote:
"Wherever you got that quote from was wrong, the rebrand already happened on the 25th. While the rest of that quote refers to BET's programming slate and not the programming that's airing on the now BET Her. BET Her is mostly going to be the same programming Centric had for the past few years, music videos in the morning, sitcoms and movies in the evenings."

Since we don't have uplink links reports anymore, I figured since the uplink for that channel changed, people would possibly look here to see what happened. I didn't want to put it in the dish section since it also affects all providers and I didn't see a channel section.

That's okay. One of the moderators apparently moved this thread to the Dish section anyway. :)
