Cellular is practically a license to print money! Charging per text message is absolutely ridiculous, considering there are no ongoing costs for a provider to provide text messaging. Its 100% profit.

I generally use 2-300 MB per month, the wife uses around 800 mb per month.
Most of mine is done over wifi however, would be higher otherwise.
We are both on (true) unlimited plans, so it wouldnt be an issue either way
