Do any of you live in Central Mexico. If so what size dish do yo need to get the conus beems from Ceil 2
I'm an ex C-Bander from way back who is retired and I spend the winter months in Central Mexico. I subscribe to DISH near Seattle, WA and have one 211 HD receiver, that I take with me when I head South (no one is going to accuse me of stacking) Up north I have two smaller standard DISH network satellite dishes, one pointed at 110 and 119 and the 2nd pointed at 129 W.
When I come to Central Mexico I live in the Greater Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta Area. A year ago I could pick up all of those Conus feeds I paid for on 110 and 119 but even with a 12 foot almost Ku satellite dish, I had troubles with the wobbly 129 West.
Today I am receiving fewer programs from 110 West here in Mexico because many of transponders on Echo*11 are better focusing their signals on the US and less signal bleed this far south.
And Yes, I have read that with Ceil 2, that I should be able to get all of the Conus signals I pay for on maybe a two meter dish in Central Mexico. And yes I will experiment around once I move to my new house in the same area of Central Mexico, Lake Chapala
BUT my question is, do any of you live in Central Mexico? And if so what size dish are you using for Ceil 2?
Thanks in advance.
