Since Scott isn't posting any news updates (that I've seen) about the Dish vs CBS dispute, I can confirm that the Chicago CBS affiliate just got dropped.
The screen message says: "Sorry for the interruption of service. There is no need to call us. We are aware that this TV station is temporarily unavailable and will have this channel back as quickly as possible."

Looks like Dish is going to have a blackout... I wonder how long it will be. Given that they have had extensions makes me think they are pretty close, but CBS does not want to give any more.
KTVT and KTXA also are gone, yep, no deal reached and blackout has just begin, looks like this could last for weeks or a couple of months.
I'll just keep humming " its the end of the world as we know it... I feel fine"....
In the San Francisco Bay Area KBCW the cw is off. KPIX is the CBS and that is gone

According to this article, Dish signed a deal with CBS back in 2012, and it was around 54 cents per user. Now they are asking for $2 per subscriber.

Oh well. I'll just have to not watch CBS again tonight, or any broadcast network.
