captiveworks forum gone

happy new year to everyone
does anyone knows what has happened to captiveworks support forum?
its been down for almost couple of weeks now.
i send them an email and got no replays.
i called justfta.com (i know for fact that is there store front) they told me they had
no idea. after a little prying the fellow on the phone told me oh the decided to close the forum.??
sounds like this boless than year old 4000hd is going to become windows media center

What kind of forum was captiveworks forum? Heck, you will find everything you need on this forum, for legal free to air. If you mean a company website for captiveworks, don't know I never owned one, never even looked for the company site.

its linux base media center. lots off issue with the software.
the original support forum was on captiveworks.org the forum was for true fta use and now pooffff gone.
with no prior notice to the owners of these units.

Yeah I seem to recall reading about a linux-based media center receiver but never actually saw one or read about its abilities. Not surprised though, several of those companies imported boxes to sell, then never supported them and disappeared.

Seems that way.
well i will turn it into a wmc with both atsc and dvb s2 cards.
only problem with wmc is no motor control just switch.
